About education problem
According to Yomiuri newspapers,40 percent of parents who have children going to elementary or junior high school think the new system that permits their children to go to school only 5 days in a week is not good.
This is a big problem, becaus about half parents don't agree with the gorvenmental policy on education.The gorvenment take emphasis on giving children much time which enable
them to think deeply about their life and started the system. But the Board of Education have no systematic education plan which can realize the gorvenment's aim. So most of children spend free time to do game at home or to go to private lesson school.
When I read this article,I coud nuderstand the feelings of the parents.I'm afraid of failing in children's memory and culculation ability and so on.
The gorvenment shoud make complete plan which enable children to think about how they will be able to live full of life in long run.Education is very important.I think We shoud think much about it.
By the way,what do you think about education? Please tell me your opinion.

I think it is not very important for chirdren to go to school six times per week.Because if they go to school on Saturdays,most of them
spend their time for only playing.So if we want to improve the failing of intelligence,we should make children　study very hard among short spans.I think concentrated study encourage getting good thinking.

Now I have the teaching course in KGU. So your article was interesting to me. I think the present education system isn't good for children. Because it is said that achivement of children is decling. I think that we need the improvement in present system.
I suggest to do some special activities in Saturday. For example, children go to institutions,companies and so on. I think these experienses make children develop.
How about my opinion? I'm glad if I know what you think about my opinion.
I just stumbled across your blog today. I find it very interesting how different cultures value education. For example, here in the United States children complain about having to go to class five days a week. They think it is to many.
I remember a private academy I went to when I was 14 or 15 years old where we only had school 4 hours a day just 4 days a week. It's hard to imagine being required to attend 6 days every week.
